I wanted to give y’all a heads up on a conference I am attending this week called HR Tech Fest. Held in Washington DC, this conference is new to the HR tech scene, so I am anxious to take it all in.

The HR Tech Fest byline is, “Celebrating the talent, technology, ideas an innovations that are transforming the way business is done”. So truly, and the speaker roster confirms, the theme is really more about talent management innovations encompassed in a nice big bubble of HR Tech.

The Speaker lineup is super-solid including two of my fellow Fistful Of Talent compadres, William Tincup, and Laurie Rueittimann. Other notables are Neil Morrison (Penguin Random House), Bill Boorman (Recruiting Daily), Jim O’Gorman (Hulu), and Ambrosia Vertesi (Hootsuite). And you have to love anybody with such an exotic name as Ambrosia! Jealous.

To read more about them, go to the HR Tech Fest website (link above).

If you aren’t able to attend be sure to follow the twitter hashtag #hrtf16. You’ll get lots of tasty nuggets of knowledge from a whole slew of folks. Some HR Tech Fest attendees that are stellar Twitter-ers are Tim Sackett (@TimSackett) and Robin Schooling (@RobinSchooling) – so you may want to follow them as well.

So go get your learn-on.  You’ll thank me for it later.  So will your mother.
